Yeast for Cider

We offer a seasonal liquid yeast Cider Blend for cider production. Check for that every Fall! 

Beyond the Cider Blend, we have seen good results with yeasts in the Saison, Belgian Ale, and Kveik families. Note that all of these yeast categories have fairly high nitrogen requirements, so make sure to follow a staggered nutrient addition approach in the cider fermentation. 

Note that our yeasts are propagated in a medium containing barley malt, and therefore they are not gluten-free. However as of 2021, we will be propagating Cider Blend in a gluten-free media with gluten testing validated to below 10ppm.
